Building bands, creative expression, and infectious confidence for ages 4 – 14.
The Weekly Band Service is a high-energy space where children find their voice, own the stage, and discover the incredible fun of making noise together.
Kerim’s Church Of Rock is a high-energy "Band Service" held every Saturday at the church. We’ve traded the school classroom for a historic landmark with incredible acoustics, and we’ve traded the "activity" mindset for the thrill of a real performance.
No rushing. We take a full hour every week to dive into the music, find our rhythm, and build a real band dynamic.
We remove the pressure of "picking the right one." Whether it's guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, or vocals, we give kids the space to try different roles until they find the one that makes them want to turn the volume up.
We use the real stuff. Valve amplifiers and professional instruments. When a child feels the power of a pro-standard backline, their confidence shifts instantly.
If you’ve been looking for group music lessons in our neighbourhood, you’ve likely seen the same thing everywhere: rushed 20-minute sessions in a cluttered classroom where kids are pulled out of their important Maths or English lessons to play on budget gear.
Our sessions are more than double the length of other schools and will not eat into your child's lesson time, but will complement their education.
I’m a dad with an 8-year-old son and a 4-year-old daughter. I spent months looking for a group that captured the energy, the fun, and the professional standard I knew my children deserved. I never found it. So, I built it myself.
We skip the dry classroom format. We run a High-Intensity Band Service. We focus on the stage presence and expressive freedom that corporate models often ignore.
Every band is a diverse unit of young musicians, and every role is vital to the noise:
Guitarists & Bassists
Drummers & Keyboardists
Lead and Harmony Singers
We provide the professional backline and valve amplifiers. The children provide the personality. We give them the space to try, to swap, and to find the instrument that clicks. Together, we build a band that understands the thrill of owning a stage.
Every band starts a journey on our "Band Bus" Roadmap. We keep a physical map displayed at the church where each band is represented by their own "Band Bus" magnet.
As the group hits new milestones—like stage presence or nailing collective timing—the bus moves closer to the finish line.
Every twelve weeks, we celebrate with a Live Performance in the church. It is a chance for the bands to show their families and the community exactly what they have achieved together.
Founders Discount: Secure a place in the first bands for a special introductory rate.
Total Immersion: One full hour of band energy every Saturday.
The Holiday Rule: We align our billing with the school year. When the church doors are closed for breaks, billing is automatically paused. You only pay for the months we are playing.
We are currently in the initial phase of our launch. Secure a place in the first bands to be formed at the Church.
Kerim’s Church Of Rock is a Community Interest Company (CIC). We exist for the benefit of the neighbourhood, not for corporate profit.
Every penny of profit is put back into the project to purchase better gear and pro-standard tools for the children.
We fund scholarship spots for talented local musicians who lack the financial means to join. We believe in the potential of every child.
Churches have always been the pulse of the neighbourhood, serving as a hub for local activities.
They are awesome, historic spaces that bring people together. We chose the church because it is a landmark where people already gather and connect. Bringing a high-energy music programme into this setting adds to the life of the parish and gives our young musicians a venue that feels important and central to their world.
